Tagbilaran City, Bohol

Tagbilaran City is a hidden gem too-often overlooked by travelers rushing to diving destinations like Panglao or to explore the white-sand beaches of Bohol and the marvels of its interior. It’s a perfect destination for those favoring slow-travel and longer stays while also having attractions for all types of traveller.

Immediately pictured above is the National Museum of The Philippines – Bohol, a must visit and which covers a remarkable breadth of both Philippine history and even geo-history for the last 100,000 years.

It is a quietly impressive venue equipped to very high standards and also fully air-conditioned. It deserves its own page – coming soon.

In terms of restaurants, cafes and eateries, Tagbilaran offers a pleasing selection in addition to several pleasing malls (& a DJI store).
